Who we are

This website belongs to HALD Consulting (Pty) Ltd, a South African company. You can reach us through the contact form. We are the responsible party for personal information collected through this site, as defined in the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA).

What we collect

When you send an enquiry, we collect the details you type into the form: your name, email address, company, deadline and message. Only your name, email address and message are required. Without them we can't reply to you.

We don't use analytics or advertising cookies, and we don't track your visit.

Why we use it

We use your details to reply to your enquiry, to prepare a quote, and to discuss work you ask us to do. We don't sell your information, add you to a mailing list, or use it for marketing unless you ask us to.

Who else handles it

Two service providers process information on our behalf. Web3Forms delivers your enquiry from the form to our inbox. hCaptcha checks that the form is sent by a person and not a bot, and may set cookies to do that. The fonts on this site load from Google Fonts, which receives your device's IP address when the page loads.

These providers may store or process information outside South Africa. We use them only for the purposes above.

How long we keep it

If your enquiry leads to work, we keep your details for as long as we work together and for as long as tax and company law require. If it doesn't, we delete your enquiry within 12 months.

Your rights

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it. You can also object to how we use it. To do any of this, send a request through the contact form.

If you're unhappy with how we handle your information, you can complain to the Information Regulator of South Africa at inforegulator.org.za.

Changes

If we change this notice, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
